Africa Print Expo Platinum sponsor Xerox will showcase the Colour 1000i Press with Gold and Silver at the Africa Print Cape Town expo, taking place from 2-3 September at the CTICC.
With consistent and great image quality, the Xerox Colour 1000i press offers the productivity, improved profitability and high-quality application range to satisfy the most demanding, forward thinking customers. New speciality dry ink capabilities have expanded Xerox’s clear dry ink range to include ‘metallic’ silver and gold dry ink. These new colours open the door to new digital profit potential from both static and personalised communications.
Also being exhibited is the new Efi H1625 LED UV large format printer. For point-of-purchase, sign, banner and graphics printers, in-house shops, and commercial printers who require a printer capable of producing high quality images across the widest variety of substrates in widths up to 1.6m. The H1625 LED 8-level variable drop grayscale heads for superior quality images, optimised ink usage, and LED UV cured inks including white ink for access to the greatest range of substrates when compared to solvent and latex printing technologies, giving owners the lowest total cost of ownership, greatest gross margin opportunity, largest addressable market and highest consumer satisfaction.
The Versant 2100, featuring Ultra High Definition resolution image quality, automated workflow and colour management, will also be demonstrated. The press is capable of producing up to 250 000 pages per month at 100 pages per minute. The press handles a variety of materials including coated and uncoated papers, bright papers, labels, business cards, glossy brochures, window decals, durable/synthetic papers, greeting cards, tabs, embossed, polyesters and custom solutions. It even handles mixed-stock jobs.
Finally the recently launched new Xerox Versant 80, which shares the same Ultra High definition imaging technology as the Versant 2100, will also be on the company’s stand.
