Xeikon Press Minimises Businesss Consumption Of Raw Materials

ETILAB’s decision to invest in the Xeikon CX300 digital press was driven by the company’s need to modernise its existing machine fleet and adapt to the growing demands for sustainable production methods. The CX300, renowned for its advanced dry toner technology, aligns perfectly with ETILAB’s mission to reduce environmental impact while increasing production efficiency.

ETILAB, founded in November 2000, has been at the forefront of the label printing industry, providing high-quality, digitally printed labels for various sectors, including FMCG, construction, automotive, and publishing. The company’s commitment to technological advancement and ecological sustainability has driven its continuous growth and success.

‘The Xeikon CX300 enables us to minimise the consumption of raw materials required for colour calibration and significantly enhances our automation and productivity,’ said Sylwia Dudek, ETILAB’s CEO and board member. ‘Moreover, the ability to use new ECO toners, which are to a large extent composed of 60% sustainable ingredients from recycling, is a pivotal element in achieving our sustainability goals.’

The CX300 digital press has substantially increased ETILAB’s production capacity and improved product quality. The press’s advanced features, such as constant colour self-calibration, have resulted in higher printing speeds and reduced production costs. This has allowed ETILAB to expand its product range to include more climate-friendly options, such as Heat Transfer Labels (HTL), and actively reduce the carbon footprint of its labels.

‘The successful implementation of the CX300 has significantly contributed to the growth of our company by enhancing our production capabilities and allowing us to meet the increasing demands for sustainable and high-quality labels,’ continued Dudek.

ETILAB’s choice of Xeikon was influenced by their positive experience with a previous Xeikon model used for six years. The new Xeikon CX300 model, with its more advanced technology and sustainable features, was a natural progression for the company. The continuity in technology and the reliable support from Xeikon ensured a smooth transition and seamless implementation process.
