Xeikon NV and Label Vision Systems Inc (LVS®) announced a global partnership at Labelexpo Americas. Xeikon is an innovator in digital printing technology and delivers web-fed digital colour presses for labels and packaging applications, as well as commercial printing. LVS® provides print quality inspection systems for both off-line and in-line applications.
LVS® products are unique as they inspect variable printed data and barcodes to guidelines established by the International Standards Organisation (ISO).
With the increased quality demand from brand owners and a need to optimise production processes, vision inspection systems have found a great fit not only in the pharmaceutical and security labels markets, but in the broader market as well. The LVS® 7000 will be used at Xeikon Labelexpo Americas booth, #6135 in Hall F of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, to inspect the prints produced on the Xeikon 3300 digital printing press.
