The Tecnau SheetFeeder BV roll feed system, which allows for up to 10 hours of non-stop cut sheet paper feeding to the Xerox Brenva HD Production Inkjet Press, is now available. Brenva is the first sheet-fed inkjet printer to offer a roll feed option.
Based upon the established Tecnau SheetFeeder family, the SheetFeeder BV sits next to the input side of the press and includes a quick-change unwinder and precision cutter. By feeding as many as 50,000 or more sheets from a single 127cm (50 inch) diameter roll, users print more in less time while lowering paper and labour costs.
SheetFeeder BV creates Brenva’s entire document size range up to a large 36.4cm (14.33 inch) x 52cm (20.5 inch) sheet for the press’s basis weight range of 60 to 220gsm, all while running at full press speed. Users may switch between 21.6cm (8.5 inch) x 28cm (11 inch) and 28cm (11 inch) x 43.1cm (17 inch) applications without changing rolls. Paper savings are especially significant on odd-sized sheets, lightweight and other non-standard papers. An optional running perforator offers additional savings.
