The expo organisers, Practical Publishing, have advised that they have no intention of cancelling the Africa Print Durban 2020 event on the 11-12 March 2020.
Together with the venue, the Durban ICC, and feedback from the Department of Health and the National Institute for Communicable Diseases, there is no need to cancel the expo, however all South Africans are advised to practice basic healthcare as outlined by the World Health Organisation and various Department of Health statements and websites. The Durban ICC has hand sanitiser dispensers at all the entrances and all guests are encouraged to sanitise before they enter the venue.
The Durban Expo is on track and the registrations from visitors are rolling in daily with our highest number to date logged on Friday, 6 March. This is a normal trend when approaching our opening day. The event is ready to host over 1000 sign and print industry professionals from the KwaZulu-Natal region. The radio advertising and local media advertising campaign is in full swing. All pre-registered visitors will be informed on the expo activities and what they can see. The organisers believe this will be a successful expo for both the exhibitors and visitors, especially taking into account the expo was last hosted in the region in 2018.
Please feel free to contact the organisers should you need more info.
