A few of the factors that formed part of Cape Town-based Studio 22’s decision to choose Taopix as its software provider included its global reputation and the product’s ease of use.
‘Officially Studio 22 has been in business for 27 years. Over the years our business has diversified, and we have been producing photobooks for 14 years, with a focus on the professional and prosumer market. More recently, we have started catering to the consumer space as well.
Throughout the years, we’ve heard about Taopix through word of mouth. We found them online and have seen many other South African companies using their software. We were visited by Michael Carrey, the business development manager for our region, which was a great personal touch,’ said Kurt Sunkel, Director at Studio 22.
‘Our investigations for a new photobook design software started about five years ago and have looked at various different software solutions, but it was only during the last year that we made the decision to switch from our existing software provider. We decided to go with Taopix for a number of reasons; they had a modular structure and associated pricing plans and their primary spoken language is English. The fact that so many other companies globally are using the Taopix platform was also very convincing. We loved that Taopix is easy to use and the autofill feature allows customers to complete a design in less time. We’re also very excited about the AI version of Taopix,’ commented Sunkel.
‘We are thrilled to be welcoming Sunkel and his team to our global family. Our customer success team have been working closely with Studio 22 to ensure they meet their deadlines and have all the support they need for a seamless launch. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with the team and have no doubt they will continue to go from strength to strength,’ said Carrey.
