Screenline has chosen the Optimus dash Management Information System to streamline its business processes.

General Manager Neil de Greef realised that to maintain the excellent customer service which has built their strong brand and industry reputation, whilst also continuing to expand the business; that a new Management Information System was needed. Having conducted thorough worldwide research, they chose Optimus dash.

‘With the variety of products produced using rigid and flexible substrates in many sizes up to super wide format and with multiple finishing options, Optimus dash proved to be the right choice. The huge flexibility of dash being able to manage any substrate and any process has meant that Screenline could fully use the fast production of quotations. Equally, having full transparency of the production process and the costs to the business has been invaluable. Our administrative processes are now streamlined, efficient and most importantly, cost effective, said de Greef.

Established in 1971 and based in Newlands, Johannesburg and Cape Town, Screenline is known for setting the highest of industry standards in producing Indoor and Outdoor Advertising, Vehicle Branding and Promotional Branding. With high profile clients such as Coca Cola and South African Breweries, Screenline not only needed to ensure they maintain the very highest quality of product production; but critically also the most efficient service.

The company was originally founded by Dick de Greef; and to this day Screenline retain strong family values within the business, with son Neil de Greef now running Screenline as General Manager and brother Nico as Marketing Manager. By harnessing a mix of old and new technologies of screen and digital printing, the philosophy of the business has always been to re-invest in innovation and technology.

The Screenline values shine through in all relationships whether supplier or customer and the Optimus approach of building partnerships with its clients also resonated with de Greef. ‘When introducing a new MIS, it is vital to engage the right partner and for them to really get to know your business so that they can make a valuable contribution. The Optimus South Africa team are always available and always happy to help. From the outset they became a valued partner, not just a supplier, said de Greef.
