Printing SA Northern Chamber member, The South African Reserve Bank (SARB), was the winner in the Craftsmanship category and claimed second prize in the Calendar category at the 2015 Northern Chamber Printing Competition.
Printing SA’s annual printing and graphic design competition is held for members from its Northern Chamber.
As an in-house printing and publishing service provider of the SA Reserve Bank, the printing/publishing department offers a wide range of services to the South African Reserve Bank and its branches. The department has eight staff members in the Production section, seven in the Visual communications section and two in the Editorial section.
‘We deliver a seamless and professional print production service to the bank and its subsidiaries by applying accepted publishing standards. The section advises clients on all aspects related to the print and electronic publishing process, and offers the following services: planning and scheduling of publications, graphic design, desktop publishing, editing, proofreading, printing, finishing and photocopying,’ said Sharron Penny, Print Production Supervisor at the SA Reserve Bank.
