Riso Africa will showcase their new ComColor high-speed production inkjet printers at the Africa Print Expo, taking place from 21-23 August at the Sandton Convention Centre.
The ComColor series offers colour solutions with high speeds and low running costs in the area of high-volume printing. The ComColors high productivity, economical efficiency and the expandability of the products enables companies to undertake broader applications.
The printers boast speeds of 150 A4 simplex pages per minute in full colour or black, improved paper handling for a variety of stocks from 46 to 400gsm, including envelopes, higher quality colour and black prints, faster first prints, two high speed PostScript RIPs for transactional and promotional VDP, low running costs and low power consumption.
The printers also have new feed and finishing options:
- Stapler with offset stacker.
- High pile feeder and stacker (4000 sheets).
- Inline automated perfect binder (30-600 pages).
- Inline wrapping envelope finisher (prints, folds and inserts up to six sheets).
With no limit set on monthly volumes due to an entirely cold process, you can decide how much you can get out of your ComColor. Typically, a single shift working a 40 hour week could produce 1 000 000 A4 full colour prints per month.
The printers employ quick-drying ink, the enhanced stability of the ink on the paper surface creates superb duplex print quality.
The ComColor series stability of paper feeding enables smooth operation with various types of paper, from lightweight paper to heavy stocks and envelopes. By enabling the series to print on lightweight paper, the devices help reduce paper storage space as well as the direct mail delivery costs. Compared with other printers with similar speed of operation, the environmental impact of the series is low, at TEC value of 8kwh. The timer function also contributes to energy conservation.
