Ricoh SA will headline three important products for Bloemfontein at the Africa Print RoadShow in Bloemfontein on 30 May at Kiepersolrant.
Two multifunction printers, one black and white and one colour, will be displayed alongside a projector, the full Ricoh range of which includes mobile and short throw projectors that extend document management from the printed page and single screen views.
The workgroup environment forms the bulk of the market in the Bloemfontein area with many national and international companies having regional offices there and the large community of smaller single office companies serving the province, says David Minards, dealer area manager for Bloemfontein at Ricoh SA. The commercial printer market is select and businesses in the government and private sector seeking printing solutions from desktop printers through to workgroup multifunction devices and smaller production equipment use the Africa Print RoadShow as a hunting ground to compare equipment, technologies, and support capabilities.
On display will be the colour MP C300 that can, among other features, store up to 3 000 documents on a standard document server and allow them to be easily found, retrieved and shared, with a host of distribution options including scan-to-FTP, USB slots and SD card reader, security features like DataOverWrite Security (DOSS) which instantly overwrites hard drive data after every job and access control, system management features like cost tracking, supply level management, and custom application support.
The black and white MP 2852 also supports the same level of document storage and retrieval with similar security features, optional workflow customisation, and environmental features.
