RICOH SA APPOINTS KEY EMPLOYEES AS PART OF NEW BUSINESS STRATEGY

As part of its new strategy aimed at capitalising on economies of scale, ramped up facilities, infrastructure, resources and news services, Ricoh SA has appointed a number of employees. The appointments cater for a number of operational processes and include supporting indirect channel operations, streamlining internal processes, bolstering support, field technical operations and restructuring the marketing department.
 
We are seeing the activities of our new business strategy fall into place, said Richard Pinker, MD of Ricoh SA. These new appointments are the first of many but represent important roles that are reshaping the business, the technologies, and ultimately service that we bring to our indirect channel and our customers.
 
Dawie Malan will develop and expand Ricoh SAs software offering in conjunction with regional software teams offeringsoftware support and training to direct and indirect channels. Previously with another office automation business Malan joined Ricoh SA in April in software sales support and was promoted in September.
 
Esti Kilian now heads up marketing services in charge of marketing and brand strategy and her roles and responsibilities will be closely aligned with Ricoh Global Marketing Business Development Strategy. Her appointment follows the departure of Sello Letjala after 11 years who has joined Motswako Office Solutions, a level 1 BBBEE Ricoh partner.
 
Morgan Crosby was appointed in a board advisory role to improve business processes internally and, where possible, to assist the indirect channel with particular projects. He will expand his role to facilitate the tender process and fulfilling against client expectations.
 
Daan Lotter takes the helm of support consultancy to support national co-ordination of tenders and to assist the indirect channel. One of his key deliverables will be ensuring solutions are implemented as required and proposed in the tenders and quotes.
 
Jacques van Wyk is now GM of indirect operations to focus on the development and expansion of Ricoh SAs indirect operations as an integral support structure of the the strategic growth plan.
 
Herman Meyer  is the new regional technical manager for Gauteng responsible for all field technical operations, managing the regional call centre, help desk and field engineers.
 
Lester Valentin has taken over as regional technical IT manager for Gauteng and he is responsible for all technical IT operations and managing IT field employees.

Combined with our technology heritage the experienced team we have in place means that we can help organisations to meet future challenges presented by the impact of new technologies and the rapid increase in information, said Pinker.
