Following on from their success in the 2023 IMDA International Awards, Ren-Flex Packaging South Africa received an award at the World Packaging Organisation’s Worldstar Awards 2024.
Ren-Flex Packaging South Africa took top honours over the most renowned printers of in-mould labelling (IML) in the world in the Labelling and Decoration category with their Romano Classic Body Cream 470ml and Arthur Ford Body Cream for brand owners Canway Supply Chain Solutions and AF Brands respectively. Moulding was done by Durban-based Teqal.
Since 1970, the World Packaging Organisation has been organising WorldStar awards and providing awards to numerous packs from around the world. The WorldStar Competition is one of the major events of the World Packaging Organisation and is the pre-eminent global award in packaging.
Dwayne du Sart, Ren-Flex’s Chief Executive Officer, expressed the significance of this achievement, stating, ‘Winning this award in an international competition announces Ren-Flex as a manufacturer of innovative and quality-based products.’
