Durban-based print specialist, Pro-Print, has recently taken ownership of its 19th Komori unit, this time a Komori LA 237P from Kemtek. The company is renowned for operating the most Komori sheetfed lithographic presses in South Africa.
Fitted as standard with the Komorimatic dampening system and Print Quality Control (PQC) system, the contemporary LA 237P is the ideal machine for high-quality, high page-count products and one-colour printing on both sides of a substrate. This compact workhorse handles sheet sizes from 29.7cm × 42cm up to 640mm × 940mm, at a maximum speed of 13 000 sheets/hour.
‘We installed the Komori LA 237P in December last year to meet new print demands, and by the end of January we’d already hit one million print impressions,’ said Pro-Print MD, Yvette Roberts. ‘Like the 18 previous Komori presses, the new LA 237P is sturdy, reliable and easy to use and has run perfectly since day one. Not surprisingly, we’re more than satisfied with its performance so far and, should we need any maintenance or trouble-shooting assistance, we know we can rely on Kemtek’s professional team for its support.’
