Printing SA Appoints New Managing Director
Jermaine Naicker, Printing SA

Jermaine Naicker has been appointed Printing SA’s new Managing Director, effective 1 August 2023.

Naicker expressed elation and humility about the appointment, acknowledging the confidence of the Board to drive transformation by placing confidence in a relatively young delegate such as himself to drive the organisation forward.

‘My core focus over the next five years will look at re-purposing and re-positioning Printing SA to be a relevant, sustainable, and dynamic organisation that provides adept solutions to a rapidly evolving and diverse industry,’ said Naicker.

Naicker is a progressive professional and creative thinker who joined Printing SA in 2016, serving in multiple capacities as Member Services Consultant, Member Services Manager, and over the last four years as Regional Chamber Manager of KwaZulu-Natal.

Over the last seven years within the organisation, Naicker gleaned a strong depth of knowledge of the printing and packaging industry, similarly grasping the fundamental purpose of Printing SA from grassroots upward. These factors were vital to Naicker’s team achieving pleasing results for Printing SA’s KZN region. His consistent, focused, and composed attributes have bode well for his journey thus far in Printing SA.

Naicker holds both an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, and is currently completing the final year of his Master of Business Administration degree. He remains determined to serve the industry through inspiring creativity, applying innovative thinking to complex problems, and representing the best interests of the industry by creating channels for growth. He is filled with a deep sense of optimism for Printing SA amid challenging times, and is encouraged by the fact that the printing, packaging, visual communication, and signage industry is growing in unconventional ways despite the general sentiment of an industry decline.
