Printing SA, in collaboration with FESPA Africa, bring you the Jamboree Week of Print’s first ever ‘Speed meet your artisan’ event, which is based on the world famous speed dating concept, and is due to take place on 6 September 2016 from 1pm to 3pm at 575 Luton Drive, Halfway House in Midrand.

Kicking off this year’s Jamboree Week of Print, this unique speed interviewing event in which 13 successful students from the Printing SA digital programme, as well as five apprentices from the 2015 TT1 block, will be introduced to prospective employers. Each company will be given the platform to spend five minutes with each of the 18 students.

It’s so simple: companies looking for students to employ have the perfect platform to meet and determine which of these individuals will fit their selection criteria, all in one day, allowing employers more time at work.

Members of Printing SA within the digital and lithography printing fields and creative agencies are invited to participate.

‘We at Printing SA believe that this is a valuable platform for our members and trust they will find real value in participating. As a federation for printers and packagers, we encourage others to enter the industry and to join this body that represents the interests of printing and packaging industry. During the two hour speed-dating event, our 18 graduates will each be given a few minutes to present themselves. By the time they’re done, employers should have a good idea as to which of the organisations graduates’ one will want in one’s organisation,’ said Steve Thombela, CEO of Printing SA.

Employers will have a first-hand opportunity to engage with the students face-to-face. The seating for this event is limited. To book your spot as a potential employer, or to find out more about Printing SA and this event specifically, call Zama on 011 287 1160 or email events@printingsa.org

Prospective employers will be able to view the 18 graduates and their profiles on www.printingsa.org ahead of the event.
