Primera Technology will present digital label printing solutions to the international audience at IPACK-IMA, being held at Fieramilano in Milan, Italy from 19-23 May 2015.

Primera will show the company’s existing range of inkjet and laser-based label printers, and also show its new industrial-grade desktop printer LX2000e Colour Label Printer.

LX2000e features large ink tanks for lower cost per label, fast print speeds and pigment ink for better water and UV resistance. Other highlights include built-in wired/Ethernet or wireless connection options, ‘pizza wheel’ cutter, front colour LCD control panel and viewing window for label stock levels.

LX900e, another printer of Primera’s inkjet-based LX-Series, is one of the fastest and most economical to operate desktop printer for small label production runs. A print resolution of 4800 dpi guarantees a printout in photorealistic quality and enables users to add vibrant pictures of their products next to small texts such as ingredients, instructions or barcodes. Labels can be printed whenever they are needed and in the required quantity. Separate ink cartridges for each colour keep operating costs low.

The LX900e’s new, specially-designed pigment inks offer far more stability against harsh conditions including water, chemicals, abrasion and exposure to long periods of UV light. A significant advantage of the LX900e’s implementation of pigment inks is that the printer can use either pigment or dye-based inks by simply changing out the removable print head.

For companies with larger production volumes, Primera offers the CX1200e Color Label Press and FX1200e Digital Finishing System, which are one of the best-selling digital label production solutions available today. Print providers of all types are using the equipment to offer 100% digital output to customers in any size or shape without the need for plates and mechanical dies.

For packaging that should convey luxury and elegance Primera offers the FX400e Foil Printer that adds metallic gold, silver or colour foil to inkjet- or laser-printed labels.
