Shaun Blumberg, Director at Press Products, attended the GMP Laminating and Digital Finishing Solutions Seminar held in Korea at the end of November 2013. Presided by Mr YP Kim, Chairman and CEO of GMP, the four day seminar saw 64 GMP agents participating from 40 overseas companies. ‘I was blown away by the high level of technology at the seminar and the market developments that GMP are driving. The seminar got underway with a full presentation on GMP’s brand new lineup of products, followed by a tour of the facilities. Mr Kim discussed GMP’s strategy and focus for 2014. The seminar focused on a variety of aspects, however fully automatic lamination finishing solutions featured highly. With GMP’s creative ideas and technological know-how, they continue to analyse and reflect on the diversity of customer’s constant dynamic requirements and ensure that they provide the solutions to assist them.

Standard OPP (Orientated Polypropylene) Laminating Film is ideal for use with traditional Litho and Inkjet prints. OPP Film is used to apply a single sided or double-sided laminated finish to printed material such as business cards, restaurant menus, brochures, book covers and greeting cards. It is ideal for high volume runs due to the low cost and availability of large volume rolls.
