Pantone has announced Pantone View Home + Interiors 2023 with cotton swatch standards, which encompasses a wire bound 22.8 x 30.4cm (9 x 12”) book containing seven trend palettes each supported with nine pages of visual imagery, material and product direction, colour harmonies and consumer impact statements.
Additional features include 2.5 x 10.1cm (1 x 4”) individual cotton swatch standards of each of the 67 forecasted colours separated by trend palette, and portable colour card highlighting colour direction by colour family and key material influences. Still photo images are grouped by trend colour palette on an included USB drive.
There are seven trend palettes with a written narrative, supporting visuals and key colour descriptors of the trend. Each trend forecast contains nine pages of imagery that brings the colour story to life.
Colour combinations illustrate how palette colours can be mixed and proportioned to create the trend mood; pivotal design influences are spotlighted, including materiality, form, consumer impact synopsis and a summary of key colours; the printed colour card displays forecasted colours in chromatic arrangement by colour family, with CMYK values for each of the 67 forecasted colours.
