NEW AVIARIES FOR AFRICA PRINT CHARITY RECIPIENT

1018

The Dullstroom Bird of Prey & Rehabilitation Centre is using the funds which Africa Print organisers, Practical Publishing, raised during its Step up for Charity campaign, for materials to build two new aviaries. Different birds, including a secretary bird and a vulture, will be held there over the year. Practical Publishing donated R7 265 to the centre.

This organisation was established with the aim of educating the public to promote awareness of the raptor species and their plight as a growing endangered species.

Practical Publishing pledged one cent for every step taken by members of its team at the Expo. Oasys Exhibitions, Lodge Security, In House Exhibitions, Be Bold Consulting, Maizey Plastics and Roland, all took on the challenge to wear pedometers. Over two million steps were taken during the expo.
