Nashua exhibited the Pro C7100SX digital colour production press with the ability to print with White or Clear toner, at the Africa Print Expo, held last week at Gallagher Convention Centre.
Nashua, in conjunction with Ricoh International, has joined forces with Color-Logic® (colour communications system) to enable printing on Metallic Media. The Process Metallic Color System™ provides printers and designers with an accurate colour communication system for printing on to foil and reflective substrates, when using white toner and CMYK. Up to 250 New Metallic Colours can be produced.
Color-Logic decorative effects works easily within the printer’s existing workflows, producing dynamic results without the use of costly special equipment. Color-Logic supports the value of print and works with printers to enhance their printed media. The software is also ideal for, but not limited to; direct mail, POP, signage, post cards, booklets/magazines, labels, shrink sleeves, security printing, calendars and many more.
