MPS and its Chinese distributor Jebsen Industrial will introduce the company’s innovative printing presses to the Chinese label and packaging markets at China Print 2013, taking place from 14-18th May in Beijing.
Automation in press control is the future for label and packaging printing in China. In addition to extensive flexibility and capability, the Chinese packaging market requires effective solutions for optimised (brand) colour accuracy, brightness and sharp details. The printing machines that MPS now offers to the Chinese market through our distributor Jebsen Industrial will fulfill this required print quality in the shortest possible time and the lowest cost per 1000 labels, said MPS Area Sales Manager Erik Blomjous.
MPS Product line
The MPS product line to be presented at China Print consists of three press models:
• EF multi substrate press, available in three different levels of automation.
• EXL-offset machine with variable sleeves for different repeat lengths.
• EXL-packaging press for wide-web flexible packaging printing.
Press Automation
Automated Print Control (APC), the MPS multi-purpose tool for print management, allows pre-programming of print pressure which is required for ideal ink transfer and minimal dot gain. The APC-gap control functionality additionally allows pre-programming of material thickness, which is critical when converting a wide range of materials. All settings are stored and recalled for repeat jobs. APC helps advance all operators’ capabilities allowing them to function at similar skill levels while giving management full control over how much they can independently affect the job process parameters.
