Mitsubishi Paper Mills Limited (MPM) have developed the linerless thermal label, Water Thermal™, with a focus on remoistening glue to develop a label without liner and silicone.
MPM cooperated with Sanei Electric Inc. to develop the thermal printer ‘Hydro-EcoTM’ which is dedicated for products with remoistening glue. The prototype printer succeeded in achieving both good printability and activation of adhesiveness with ease in handling.
MPM will introduce Water Thermal™ at the booth of its subsidiary, Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Europe GmbH (MPE) at Labelexpo Europe from September 11-14 in Brussels, Belgium.
