Commercial print service provider Minit Print has invested in a HP Indigo WS6800. The deal was executed at Labelexpo, which took place in Brussels.
Established 34 years ago as a copy shop, Minit Print has steadily grown and fulfills all kinds of commercial jobs from corporate newsletters and folders, to short run magazines, flyers, and pharmaceutical boxes. Minit Print has now decided to break into the labels and packaging market with the addition of this leading narrow-web printing solution. The HP Indigo WS6800 will be Minit Print’s third HP press.
‘We see huge opportunities in labels and packaging, and the purchase of the HP Indigo WS6800 marks a strategic decision we have made to enter this market,’ said Stan Shiller, managing director, Minit Print. ‘This purchase means we can offer our customers an end-to-end packaging solution. For example, for our pharmaceutical customers we can now produce the box, the insert, and the labels.’
‘We chose HP because we trust them, we have had a very good experience with the company since our first HP installation eight years ago,’ he added. ‘We knew HP would be the best partner for us in taking our company through the next phase of growth.’
The HP Indigo WS6800 digital press allows users to print any label, at any run-length in a simpler, more productive and profitable way.
