Mactac Performance Adhesives Group’s innovative new UV inkjet semi-gloss UVS9002 paper product eliminates the potential need to prime prior to converting.

UVS9002 is a 54# brilliant white, high-quality semi-gloss paper stock that is suitable for UV inkjet print engines, as well as flexo. It is accompanied by a 2.4-mil Super Calendared Kraft (SCK) liner and Mactac’s popular quick-tack 710VHP hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive.
The SCK liner is excellent for die-cutting, stripping, and label dispensing and the well-known permanent, rubber-based 710VHP adhesive offers excellent tack and ultimate adhesion to a variety of surfaces, including polystyrene, polypropylene, polyethylene, paper and corrugate.
UVS9002 is a versatile label that converts on wider webs at higher speeds than other rubber-based adhesive-coated papers. It is ideal for high-quality inkjet labelling applications in a multitude of segments – from product labelling to VIP labelling – and is also suitable for cold, damp labelling applications.
