The printer enables printers to use the same ink set on a wide variety of fabrics. It will be launched at ITMA 2011 in Barcelona, Spain, from September 22 to 29. Kornits unique integrated pretreatment solution and its pigment inks bind to all fabrics, eliminating the need for different inks for different fabrics.
The company binds the only real digital pigment ink in the marketplace to the fabric, producing a vast array of colours and a great hand feel. This innovation in digital printing is the beginning of a revolutionary change in the industry.
The Allegro Symphony inks include 7 colours, extending the already wide colour gamut to include a vibrant range of pastels with its Light Magenta, Light Cyan and Grey. The printer has a print speed of up to 280sqm/hr and a high resolution of 500 X 500 dpi, allowing fast but high quality prints. Its QuickP Movement RIP software allows continuous positioning, giving Kornits printing image a truly sharp and customised look.
The printer expands printing options while decreasing additional time and expense in the printing process. We are very excited about this new solution, said Sarel Ashkenazi, VP of Marketing & Business Development at Kornit Digital. We believe that it will revolutionize the industry since it eliminates the pretreatment and post-treatment stages. It also provides the only real digital pigment ink in the marketplace. With our vast experience in creating chemical solutions in the industry, we are able to push the industry limitations and revive pigment inks with our
innovative digital machines.
