ASL Print FX was recently named one of world’s best flexo label printers by capturing the first ever World Label Association’s Best of the Best award for its Rennie Estate Winery label at the Global Label Awards in Brussels.
The international award is the most prestigious of the label industry, is only open to World Label Award recipients, an honour that ASL achieved earlier this year for the Rennie label. An impressive honour on its own, ASL bested worthy competition from 223 entrants around the world to win the World Label Award.
The award marked ASL’s third year in row as a recipient of a World Label Award. ASL uses KODAK FLEXCEL NX Plates for all its label production and, since the installation of its FLEXCEL NX System in September 2008, has invested considerable effort in the optimisation and standardisation of its print production process.
ASL utilises KODAK PRINERGY POWERPACK Workflow and KODAK STACCATO Screening to print all its labels using full stochastic screening, a production workflow that was recently not possible in flexo printing.
