KODAKs  PRINERGY Workflow has won the first-ever Must See ’Ems Legacy Award. Must See ’Ems awards are given to products and services showcased at Graph Expo which have been deemed as compelling technology for the printing industry according to an independent industry expert committee.

The company received the award at the pre-show EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference at the expo. The new Legacy Award was created to recognise one past Must See ’Ems winner that has had a transformative and lasting influence on the graphic communications industry.

Winning such a prestigious award recognising PRINERGY Workflow’s contribution and Kodak’s commitment to the print industry is an honour, said Jon Bracken, Kodak’s General Manager of Unified Workflow Solutions. Our new generation of solutions will continue to deliver efficiency improvements throughout the production cycle and focus on the manufacturing process.

PRINERGY Workflow is known for its automation and version six will focus on integrating the production planning process–reducing the time customer service representatives, production planners, and prepress operators spend preparing optimized production plans.

Kodak also received Must See ’Ems recognition for NEXPRESS Gold Dry Ink, which produces a gold metallic sparkle effect for applications such as direct mail, certificates, photos, tickets and many others.

Other awards went to:

  • The KODAK INSITE Prepress Portal System version 6.5, which makes it easier for print buyers, prepress operators, and service representatives to submit jobs, proof and approve work, track progress, and collaborate on changes.
  • KODAK FLEXCEL Direct System, which uses innovative, energy-efficient, high- power laser engraving to produce superior quality, affordable press-ready elastomer sleeves for flexographic printing, and is a new addition to Kodak’s innovative packaging portfolio that includes the award-winning KODAK FLEXCEL NX System.
