IST METZ will showcase its FREEcure and SMARTcure solutions. The FREEcure system reduces the use of photoinitiators to a minimum – the plus point in the production of low-migration inks for sensitive products and packaging. Improved curing results and a reduced number of dryers make the FREEcure system fit for the future in terms of energy savings.
In addition, SMARTcure is an innovative AI-supported curing assistant, which determines the ‘optimum instead of maximum’ principle for specific applications and controls the dryer ideally based on the parameters from the pre-press stage for a revolutionary UV curing process.
These solutions and more will be showcased at UV DAYS 2025. IST METZ has been setting new standards with UV DAYS (the international UV industry) since 2002 and offers a unique platform for innovations and technologies in the field of UV printing. In 2025, they are once again expecting numerous exhibitors to present their latest developments in the fields of UV, LED and excimer technology. From 3 to 5 June 2025, the world’s largest in-house exhibition for UV and LED technology will enter its twelfth round in Nürtingen, Germany.
Attendees can take the opportunity to find out about the latest trends and research results in the UV Technology Campus. Over the last two years, a new top-class research laboratory has been created, where the ideas of tomorrow are already being developed in the ‘original Swabian sense’. The centrepiece of the new laboratory is not only test facilities, but also a high-tech analytical laboratory.
