INXhrc contains fewer chemicals compared to traditional inks, with no allergens, nanomaterials, flurochemicals, fanal pigments, heavy metals, latex or PTFE. When used with high strength colour concentrates, INXhrc offers the strongest finished inks available with superior resolubility and transfer properties.
‘Our INXhrc natural-based flexographic inks are a solid choice for brand owners and food packaging providers,’ said Renee Schouten, INX International’s director of marketing. ‘There is a greater emphasis today on more using sustainable products that satisfy industry regulators and are more environmentally friendly. INXhrc does both. These inks also give printers and brand owners the opportunity to improve their production efficiencies and raise the bar to meet their own sustainability initiatives.’
In addition to better production efficiency, the INX flexographic product line features an array of ink choices to use for packaging purposes. These range from water, solvent, and UV/EB flexo inks to Low Migration and Specialty inks and coatings.
INX has developed many single-serve ink systems for surface print packaging used in the fast food industry. For example, PolyCup is a polyethylene coated brand for hot and cold beverage cups. VersaTech offers good gloss and excellent heat resistance, and Flexographic ODE is formulated for outdoor storage bags.
The company will focus attention on INXhrc natural-based inks and its entire flexographic product line for packaging at the Flexographic Technical Association’s Forum and Info*Flex 2019, which takes place 6-7 May in New Orleans.
