Imagemed showcased Epson solutions at the Africa Print Expo, which was held at Gallagher Convention Centre from 11-13 September.
The SL-D500 is ideal for photo retailers, copy shops, designers and artists, as well as events, hospitality and photo box markets. This compact and lightweight production printer is space-efficient, portable and stackable. It produces the same high-quality images as the SL-D1000(A) and is ideal for the production of 10 x 15cm simplex and duplex photos, calendars and cards.
Also showcased was the SL-D0001A. The SL-D1000 series features impressive print speeds of up to 385 pph (15 x 10cm prints at standard quality) with no compromise on quality. Cartridges have been replaced by Epson’s Integrated Ink Pack System ink bags, providing 25% more ink than their predecessor, and resulting in fewer ink changes, reduced downtime and less waste. Productivity is also improved when used in combination with the optional duplex feeder (included in the SL-D1000A).
The SC-F100 is Epson’s first A4 dye sublimation printer. With the footprint of an A4 desktop printer, the SC-F100 is perfect for producing promotional goods and personalised gifts such as mugs, key fobs, phone covers and other small merchandise items, when space is limited.
Visitors could also learn about the SC-P8500D, a high-quality commercial printer for photos and posters, with a compact, contemporary design and Wi-Fi connectivity.
