HP recently displayed its market-leading advancements and demonstrated how HP Indigo allows label converters to experience profitable growth by enabling them to allocate each job to the right press, regardless of its run length.
HP Indigo’s wide portfolio, including the HP Indigo V12, HP Indigo 200K, and the HP Indigo 6K, are based on HP Indigo’s LEP and LEPX technologies, allowing converters to bring the value of digital print to any label. Additionally, thanks to HP’s Intelligent Automation and end-to-end production offering – including PrintOS, advanced colour management, and access to a global network of leading solution providers – converters enhance efficiencies by creating high-speed automated production lines with minimal human intervention and solving challenges such as labour shortages, waste reduction, mass customisation, and on-demand production.

At Labelexpo Americas, HP exhibited the HP Indigo 6K Digital Press and HP Indigo 200K. The HP Indigo 200K included a new game-changing add-on slitter, which allows converters to seamlessly use their HP Indigo 200K press to print pressure-sensitive labels, flexible packaging and shrink-sleeves slit on press and then convert the slitted roll-on narrow web devices.
After a successful launch in 2023, the HP Indigo 200K has already over 40 installations worldwide, allowing label and flexible packaging converters to tap into the fastest growing segment in print: digitally printed flexible packaging.
Jeff Koch, Chief Executive Officer at American Packaging Corporation, recently installed two HP Indigo 200K Digital Presses, and said, ‘We believe that digital printing will help us serve our existing customer base and also open new doors and create exciting conversations with potential new customers. We view digital printing as the future of flexible packaging, as well as the future of American packaging.’
Many HP Indigo label converters use the HP Indigo 200K and HP Indigo 25K to diversify their business and tap into digital flexible packaging.
Full-service packaging provider Nosco is building a strong foundation for the future of digital print by incorporating HP Indigo’s innovation into every part of its packaging business, including the HP Indigo V12, 200K, 8K, 6K and 35K.
Craig Curran, President at Nosco, said, ‘Being able to assure our customers that they are getting a quality product with all the copy correct and the colour just right is not a nice-to-have, but rather, a must-have.’
‘At HP Indigo, we are committed to empowering our customers to unlock profitable growth by delivering cutting-edge digital printing solutions that combine speed, quality and sustainability. Our technology not only enhances production capabilities but also positions our customers at the forefront of a rapidly evolving market,’ said Noam Zilbershtain, VP and General Manager, HP Indigo. ‘By adopting an HP Indigo first mindset, label converters can efficiently meet the demands of brands, reduce costs and open new revenue streams’, he added.
