Graphix Supply World (GSW) exhibited its latest labelling and finishing solutions at the Africa Print Expo, which took place from 21-23 August at the Sandton Convention Centre.
The company showcased its leading digital finishing solutions with a Kongsberg iXP24 on the stand. It also exhibited the complete digital solution for packaging, display and sign making. With live application demonstrations using various print and packaging materials on the table, attendees were impressed by the high-speed, high performance cutting solutions.
Visitors also saw Primera’s label printing technology through high quality print samples. GSW showcased the CX1200 label printer that delivers short-run, full-colour digital label printing. In combination with the CX1200e, Primera introduced a complete digital label production solution. The FX1200e digital finishing system is ideal for use with the CX1200e. The FX1200e offers, in one single process, the ability to laminate, dye cut, slit, rewind and remove the waste matrix.
GSW also showcased the Kompac UV EZ Koat Coater. The Kompac EZ Koat Web 15 has a small footprint, and is a roll-to-roll UV and aqueous coater capable of applying coating to on demand digital labels or cut sheets up to 37cm (14.5”) wide by virtually any length. It features Solid State UV. It is environmentally friendly and the solid state UV replaces outdated and potentially hazardous ballast/mercury relay systems used in curing UV coatings. The company also displayed the latest Mimaki printing solutions as well as the label solutions with white and silver inks.
