Commercial printer Emmerson Press, based in the UK, won the Inkjet In Commercial Print award at the recent Digital Printer Awards for the luxury photobook titled ‘Another Lost Summer’, created with its Fujifilm Jet Press 750S.

Commenting on his company’s win at the Digital Printer Awards, Jamie Emmerson, Director of Emmerson Press said, ‘We’re thrilled to receive recognition for our work as a commercial printer. The Another Lost Summer photobook demonstrates the outstanding quality that the Jet Press 750S is capable of printing.’

Martin Fairweather, National Digital Business Development Manager at Fujifilm UK, addded, ‘Emmerson Press is a proven expert in the commercial printing sector and a valued Fujifilm customer. The win at the Digital Printer Awards is very well deserved.’

Judges who selected the award-winners commented, ‘A great example, demonstrating the creative and process control that digital inkjet offers the commercial print industry. The product eliminates waste while also ensuring flat and smooth tints, and high quality output in production.’

Fujifilm’s partnership with Emmerson Press is longstanding. In 2016, it became the first company in the UK to install a Jet Press 720S. In 2020, the business upgraded its printer to the Jet Press 750S.

With both machines, Emmerson Press has printed high quality books that have been showcased at various prestigious events. These include: British photographer Nick Knight’s ‘Roses’ project, printed on the Jet Press 720S in 2019; luxury magazine Soul Kind, printed on the Jet Press 750S from 2020-2021; and British photographer Rankin’s PERFORMANCE book, printed on the Jet Press 750S in 2021. Additionally, earlier this year, Emmerson Press became the first company in the UK to invest in Fujifilm’s ApeosPro C810 toner press.
