The company unveiled its new high speed colour/monochrome inkjet digital printing system at drupa. This is the first inkjet digital printing system made in China. The company also debuted its full-colour UV digital inkjet label printing press, the EagleJet L1400.
The EagleJet P5200 system controller not only controls and manages the whole inkjet printing system, but also monitors the status of the system in real time. It has an open structure design and powerful, ultra-fast parallel RIP processors with an output speed of up to 2000 A4 pages per minute.
The system has high speeds, high price performance and high output, offering new solutions for on-demand book publishing, newspaper and magazine distribution, direct mail, variable printing and short-run commercial printing.
The system utilises state-of-the-art drop-on-demand Piezoelectric inkjet printheads with speeds up to 75m per minute or 2020 A4 pages per minute in colour mode and 150m per minute or 4040 pages per minute in black-and-white mode. It offers resolution of up to 600dpi to 1200dpi.
The EagleJet L1400 has the most advanced DOD Piezo Electronic print head and offers printing speeds of up to 48m/min, with a printing resolution of 720dpi. It can be used for short-run label printing such as cosmetic labels, food labels, security labels and personalised labels.
