Ferrostaal Equipment Solutions will showcase MGI’S versatile digital press, the DP8700 XL, in Hall 2 stand E39 at the Africa Print Expo, being held from 2-4 of July at the Gallagher Convention Centre.
The press offers the widest range of substrates available (paper, plastics and envelopes), the largest cut sheet size (up to 102cm) in production mode, as well as laser-safe prints, no click charge, an economical total cost of operation, plus offset-comparable output quality and produces high quality output up to 3600 dpi.
It can handle paper from 70 to 350gsm, including coated matte or glossy, card stock, textured, and carbonless. Other applications include: tri-fold brochures, book covers with flaps, menus, point of sales materials, banners, signs and panoramic photos, canvas, plastics, photo books, stickers and labels, textiles and more. The dedicated touch screen with built-in substrate library automatically adjusts all print settings inside the engine to optimise the printability of each substrate.
