Expert srl, the well-respected Italian manufacturers of CI, linear and stack type flexo printing machines, has appointed Ronnie Cox Graphic Supplies to represent its interests in South and Southern Africa.

Ronnie Cox Graphic Supplies was established in 1974 as a supplier of equipment and consumables to the printing industry in South and Southern Africa. Since then, the company has been involved in the supply and support of equipment in the sheet fed and web-fed environment, and has supplied presses, finishing equipment and converting equipment for a range of market segments in the printing industry.

Expert srl, located in S. Martino B.A. Verona, manufactures a comprehensive range of flexo printing machines including CI, stack and linear versions, with derivatives offering gearless drive systems as well as traditional geared technology.

Expert srl manufactures five categories of gearless flexo presses up to 10 colours namely:
Dynamic: central drum, gearless for large width and repeat.
Active: central drum, gearless, for medium length runs.
Compact: Central drum, gearless, for short runs.
Concept: Stack type gearless.
Sprint: Stack type gearless.

In addition to its standard line-up of standard presses, the company offers bespoke manufactured presses, unique to the converting market, including very wide printing widths, as either CI or stack type gearless versions (2500mm up to 3000mm). In addition, it manufactures downstream units for UV inks or varnishes/lacquers, fitted with in-register applications, due to a very advanced manufacturing programme.

Expert’s sleeve technology features tool-less change-over that can be achieved in minutes. Likewise, changing doctor blades and side seals in the specially designed chamber doctor blade system is achieved without any tools.

Expert srl also manufactures chamber doctor blade systems that can be retrofitted as replacements for the older conventional flexo inking systems on almost any flexo press. All presses can be equipped with manual or automatic inking and wash up systems. Its in-house designed viscosity control system is available for all models of Expert presses, and can also be retrofitted to existing Expert presses and presses from other manufacturers.

The company offers shaft type and shaftless unwind and rewind stands, flying splice rewinders, manual and automatic inking and washing systems, INK-FLOW Viscosimeters, UV curing systems, reprint and turn-bar systems, longitudinal, circular blade web slitting systems, and a variety of plate register and mounting systems.
