Esko will showcase its latest innovations in everything from structural design, prepress editing and workflow automation through to flexo platemaking automation and inline print inspection. The company will demonstrate how its range empowers packaging businesses to improve ways of working, eradicate waste and optimise operational processes.
Visitors to All4Pack Paris will see first-hand the benefits of an automated, digitised and connected prepress workflow, when Esko demonstrates its full ecosystem of solutions at this year’s Paris expo.
‘We’re excited to be returning to All4Pack and to meet face to face with visitors,’ said Isabelle Manche, Esko Regional Business Director, France and Benelux. ‘The team is looking forward to demonstrating our latest advances in automation and to explain how Esko packaging software covers the entire journey of packaging print, from design and artwork to press-ready separations and on-press inspection. We’ll show how Esko software scales along with a business’ requirements, enabling converters to tackle the most urgent problems first and expand as they go, scaling up the software capabilities as the business grows.’
Esko will showcase its entire range of packaging prepress solutions. ‘We will have user demonstrations of our structural design and PDF editing software, our packaging management and workflow automation solutions, software that ensures complete colour accuracy as well as our flexo platemaking automation systems,’ said Manche. ‘Following our recent acquisition of Tilia Labs, we’ll also be demonstrating how we integrate with the company’s intelligent tools for sheet layout, estimation and planning.’
Manche said there would also be live demonstrations of the Esko AVT automatic 100% inspection solution for flexible packaging and labels. ‘We will demonstrate to visitors how predefined specifications can be shared with integrated inspection technology to create a closed loop solution to guarantee print quality,’ she said. ‘Fundamentally, a connected workflow simplifies, streamlines and standardises each step of the prepress process making it easier to manage, identify issues and resolve problems before they occur. Digitising, automating and connecting systems and processes – both in a single location and across multiple sites – delivers proactive, positive control and ultimately optimises headcount to minimise operational costs and waste for businesses,’ she said.
