The IDEAS recognise those Inca users around the world who are achieving the most stunning effects using Inca’s state-of-the-art flatbed UV technology. Companies can enter their best work in six categories: Display Graphics, 3D POS, Retail Interiors, Decor and Furniture, Product Decoration and—a new category in 2012—Interactive Display. Judges will be looking for a combination of quality, innovation and creativity, and the reward for the lucky winners will be two nights at the SGIA Expo 2012 in Las Vegas (18th-20th October), courtesy of Inca.
The closing date for the second Inca Digital Excellence Awards (IDEAS 2012) is 31st July.
We have had some great entries from all over the world so far, encouraged by a multi-level marketing campaign, with the new Interactive Display category clearly capturing users’ imaginations, said Heather Kendle, Inca Digital Sales and Marketing Director. Anyone who keeps their eyes open in a retail or commercial environment has noticed the growth in striking installations combining digital print with TV screens, projectors and other interactive features. The new category has uncovered some remarkable examples. Printers are also unlocking the creative potential in some very unusual substrates. I have a feeling the winning entries this year will excite, inspire and even surprise people!
The response to IDEAS 2012 demonstrates that the UV inkjet sector is in excellent health. It also shows that printers welcome imaginative awards schemes that allow them to showcase their work to existing and potential clients, their peers, and their staff. Marketing-savvy businesses know the prize for winning is more than just two nights in Las Vegas. It’s an opportunity to show existing and potential clients – and their own staff – that they produce best-in-class work that stands up to intensive expert scrutiny.
All printers need to do is submit the details of their entry into a simple online form and upload at least three images; it only takes a few minutes.
