Enprom Solutions has developed an innovative converting line, designed to produce paper envelopes and folders in different formats.
The boom in online shopping during the coronavirus pandemic has seen retailers having to not only cater for an increase in digital sales, but also boost their online capacity. With this e-commerce surge, sustainability issues remain very much in focus as retailers opt to steer away from the use of plastics in their supply chain whenever possible.
Enprom’s ‘circular economy line’ is called the eFCS 130, which combines inline processes to provide a highly efficient hybrid solution. It includes a regenerative shaftless motorised unwinder with pick up, two flexographic printing units, a high performance drying unit, a rotary die-cutting unit with printed line register, an exit table with shredding unit, format stacking and intuitive software for easy use and control of productivity.
By making the final product in a single step, the eFCS 130 solution enables high productivity with reduced waste, the ability to rationalise stock holding and is perfect for reprinting and customising the final product.
