The new flexible packaging solutions are available in transparent film as well as printed with possibility of different varnishes, gloss, matte or paper effects.
This range of PE and PP-based flexible packaging aims to improve recyclability as well as improving food preservation thanks to its barrier properties. These solutions have been developed by EMSUR Group in direct collaboration with INNOTECH (R+D+I Centre) and EMSUR’s Saymopack (Valencia) and EMSUR SPO (Ballée) production sites.
The different structures in this type of laminate aim to respond to the needs of FMCG customers who require packaging solutions for bags or Doypacks with monomaterial compositions and barrier properties for a range of product categories, including snacks, confectionery, coffee and tea, fresh and processed food, and home and personal care, etc.
Their development is applicable both to rotogravure and flexographic printing. The main benefits, in addition to the improved recyclability of this type of packaging, are its barrier and sealing properties. This new development can also be used as a packaging solution and recyclable alternative for food products that require Bio, natural or organic positioning.
