EFI showcased the winning production capabilities of its versatile industrial inkjet portfolio at the 2024 AICC/TAPPI SuperCorrExpo in Orlando. The company’s packaging experts were on hand to discuss breakthrough solutions such as the 1.4m wide EFI Nozomi 14000 LED inkjet printer, as well as EFI’s new Nozomi 14000 AQ model featuring water-based inks.
EFI, in partnership with Packsize®, has also developed the X5® Nozomi, an on-demand, full-colour LED inkjet, right-sized box system. This first of its kind solution creates printed, custom-sized corrugated packaging in real time, changing the rules of manufacturing efficiency for packaging producers, ecommerce companies and third-party logistics providers.
New solutions like the superwide format EFI VUTEk® Q3h XP hybrid flatbed/roll-to-roll UV LED inkjet printer can deliver premium-quality, short-run corrugated display and packaging jobs, along with many other types of graphics applications.
