The Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf, hosted a breakfast seminar in preparation for the drupa 2016 show at the Hyatt on the 11 February 2016. drupa is the world’s leading exhibition for graphic and industrial printing, as well as media and multichannel technology.
All potential exhibitors and visitors to the drupa 2016 show were invited. The main objective of the seminar was to equip attendees with the necessary information required for participation of the drupa 2016 show.
Maximilian Butek, Deputy CEO, Southern African-German Chamber welcomed everyone and Sabine Geldermann, Director drupa, took everyone through the highlights at the event. Attendees were given an informative presentation from Claus Bolza-Schünemann, Chairman of the drupa Advisory Board and CEO of KBA. An overview of the printing industry in the region was given by Steve Thobela, CEO, Printing SA, Charnia Yapp, editor of Africa Print and Ryan Miles, Managing Director, Heidelberg Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd. Gordon Smith, National Packaging and Export Manager, Kemtek Imaging Systems, gave insight into what visitors can expect at drupa from the brands that Kemtek represents.
