CUTTING EDGE DIGITAL PRINT TECHNOLOGY HITS PORT ELIZABETH

The Africa Print RoadShow in Port Elizabeth, held on 13 February at the Boardwalk Convention Centre, was a major success, with over 300 visitors attending the RoadShow to see the latest digital print technology and equipment first hand. 

Highlights include:

On the commercial printing front, the Africa Print RoadShow sponsor, Xerox, showcased the new D125 mono printer/copier, and X770 digital colour press which helps print providers increase monthly print volume by expanding into applications such as photo books, direct-mail pieces, marketing materials and calendars. 

Konica Minolta South Africa exhibited digital production press award winners as well as its comprehensive photo book solution. 

Antalis South Africa exhibited heavy stock colour digital printers from its new partner, Intec Printing Solutions.

Ricoh showcased its range of Ricoh projectors, the MP C4502ARDF multifunction printer fitted with the SR3110 booklet finisher, and the MP C305SPF.

Judges visited each stand at the expo and judged the stands according to criteria based on design and staff friendliness and professionalism. The stand winners and runners up include:
