CMYK Industries Launching Fluorescent Toner And Digital Printers At Africa Print Expo

2932

CMYK Industries will demonstrate its new Fluorescent toner powder and latest line of iColor digital label presses and garment printers at the Africa Print Expo, taking place from 22-24 July at the Gallagher Convention Centre.

CMYK Industries recently partnered with California-based Uninet Imaging, a global Original Equipment Manufacturer with over 25 years of experience in the imaging industry and a leader in imaging products for laser printers, copiers & MFP’s. Uninet Imaging is also the manufacturer of Fluorescent toner powder for its line of iColor printers. This partnership will see CMYK Industries offering this unique toner to the African and Middle Eastern market.

The iColor series are used in the beverage, food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, chemical and cosmetics industries, as well as others that require prototype, custom and variable data labeling and even security printing. The white printing upgrade kit allows the user to print white with full colour on clear and dark media. You can add the Fluorescent toner kit for prints that glow under black light.

CMYK Industries is offering the unique digital press solution for short to mid run label production. The digital label printing equipment is perfect for companies who are tired of paying minimum order, plate and per colour fees and which want to bring label printing in house.

The iColor® 700 and iColor® 900 digital printers offer many benefits to keep manufacturers competitive:
– Low temperature LED technology allowing for more vibrant colours and the most diverse library of media available (PET, BOPP, wood venire, foils, tag stock, matte, semi-gloss, high gloss, clear, dark media and more).
– The ability to print directly on pre-die cut and kiss cut labels through their patented auto-registration system which keeps labels perfectly aligned from beginning to end.
– The iColor 700 and 900 feature a patented feed system, where the label roll is stored underneath and away from the elements, saving valuable production space.

In addition, the iColor® 700 is GHS certified for sections 1, 2, and 3 of the BS5609 standard needed for IMDG certification.
