Canon South Africa announced the South African launch of the Canon Partner Programme, to empower local partners to grow their businesses. The Canon Partner Programme will be introduced for the first time at Canon SA’s stand at Africa Print 2015, taking place from 22-24 July at Gallagher Convention Centre.

The programme gives partners access to a wide range of support resources including financial rewards, marketing and sales resources, technical support, quality training and recognition.

Warren Lock, Business Development Manager: Professional Services at Canon South Africa said, ‘Our Partner Programme is designed to properly equip Canon partners with the necessary expertise, training and support to generate new business, improve customer understanding, achieve market differentiation and ultimately drive business growth. Working with our partners is a commitment we take to heart. All of our partners benefit from extensive support and reward programmes. They also have the potential to extend their offerings through our broad range of products and solutions.’

Canon certifies partners that can demonstrate a high standard of skills and knowledge to enable them to deliver quality services to its customers. These certifications allow for the partners’ area of expertise and breadth of portfolio to be leveraged and recognised.

With over 70 years experience in delivering pioneering imaging technologies, Canon is well-positioned to up-skill and support its partners in Africa. Providing them with qualified training and support, partners are appropriately experienced to advise and sell across the Canon portfolio. Canon will help these partners to generate new business opportunities and gain new customers by investing in growth support.

Partners also have access to the Canon PartnerNet, an online portal that gives them access to a wealth of information and support to develop their business. The portal is packed with useful sales, marketing and support information. This includes tools to create personalised campaign material, competition comparison tools, and counter argument help. Canon PartnerNet also allows partners to participate in tailored marketing and incentive programmes, and gives them access to the Canon Learning Portal.

‘Everything our partners need to activate their business and develop campaigns is available at their fingertips. It has never been this easy to access the technical and marketing resources partners require to generate new business and enhance their communication with customers,’ added Lock.

Lock concluded by saying that the Canon Partner Programme entrenches Canon’s commitment to the Southern African market, and to nurturing and growing its partner network in the region.
