IMAGEPRESS C10000VP
The top of the range printer is Canon’s first 100 page-per-minute colour digital print engine. The ImagePRESS C10000VP sets a new standard in image quality and productivity by introducing technological innovations that enhance throughput, ensure reliably consistent colour and more accurate registration control and deliver flexible media handling and finishing. Featuring the same CV toner and 32-beam Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) technology as the successful imagePRESS C800 series, the imagePRESS C10000VP offers 2400 x 2400 dpi print resolution and vivid output quality.
A new developer unit maintains colour consistency, ensuring stable output even over long runs. This is further enhanced by the introduction of new Multi Density Adjustment Technology that allows for automatic real-time density correction, as well as an in-line spectroscopic sensor that enables daily colour calibration.
Rated at speeds of up to 100 impressions per minute irrespective of media weight up to 350gsm, the imagePRESS C10000VP maintains productivity even on long-run or mixed media jobs, including speciality stocks such as synthetic media. The Consistently Vivid (CV) toner offers improved transfer efficiency and a lower fixing temperature, delivering vibrant image quality even on textured media. A new air compressor also makes it possible to print onto thin coated media as light as 70gsm.
IMAGEPRESS C800
The 80 page-per-minute ImagePRESS C800 series is another popular choice for both commercial and in-house environments. Within 10 months of the launch of the ImagePRESS C800, Canon secured the lion’s share of the cut sheet colour production press market in Europe.
The C800 series incorporates a combination of proven technology from the flagship Canon imagePRESS C7011VP(S) with innovations, such as, Consistently Vivid (CV) toner, Compact Registration Technology (CRT), Auto Correct Colour Tone (ACCT) and a Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL).
For graphic arts applications, the Océ ColorWave 700 has proven to be a more than capable all-rounder. Using the latest version of Océ CrystalPoint technology for high speed toner printing with excellent adhesion to standard and specialty substrates, a higher print quality and clean refilling, the Océ ColorWave 700 is designed to enable a wide range of high quality applications and supports print service providers, in-house or remote work-groups and central print rooms with a requirement for instant dry and water resistant prints on roll-based media.
The system supports media up to 0.8 mm of thickness that makes it suitable for a uniquely large range of graphics applications including canvas, wallpaper and banner printing. Up to six different rolls of media can be loaded at one time, making the printer able to handle many different jobs without having to load and unload rolls in-between. This versatility, combined with an easy-to-use interface, high resolution and speed, allows businesses to be more creative and expand their products and services to new profitable areas.
