The company will be showing system solutions and components extending far beyond traditional printing. Variable coding, serialising, personalising and printing on different materials and formats in a wide range of applications will form the centrepiece of its drupa show stand.
Along with Koenig & Bauer AG, the company will also be presenting a highly modern hybrid sheet printing and coding system, under the slogan Digital meets Offset at the KBA stand in Hall 16, Stand C47.
The Atlantic Zeiser Group, a leading developer and supplier of modules and end-to-end system solutions for industrial digital and security printing, will be on prominent display at the expo. The company will be taking advantage of the worlds most important industry meet-up to present its latest developments in industrial digital printing for coding, serialising, personalising and printing products made from different materials and formats with variable data and information. The merging of security and commercial printing here is opening up whole new synergetic effects for Atlantic Zeiser customers.
The company will be exhibiting special solutions for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and packaging sectors along with security printing for ID card personalisation. These technical innovations meet the continually changing legal requirements and market demands to combat product forgeries, while delivering product traceability via coding and serialising, as well as maximum quality levels during direct product printing such as with 4C commercial cards.
There will be three exhibits in the 240sqm area, demonstrating the key features of a modern, powerful printing and coding solution in industrial digital printing across complete system solutions. The stand will also showcase the combination of special printing requirements such as 4C card printing, coding and serialising a flat packaging carton with different barcodes and Datamatrix codes as well as individualisation using industrial digital printing for secure excise stamps to seal a package.
To achieve this, the following systems will be in operation on the stand:
DIGILINE Web 300 with integrated high-speed digital inkjet printers DELTA 105i and OMEGA 36i for label production of security seals and tax labels.
DIGILINE Sheet 300 with integrated digital inkjet printer OMEGA 36i in combination with an environmentally friendly, air cooled UV LED curing system SMARTCURE AIR for individual coding and serialising of folded cartons.
PERSOLINE with plasma pre-treatment, 4C-GAMMA inkjet digital printer as well as varnishing UV coating module for high quality four-colour printing and personalisation of plastic cards.
Carl-Michael Heüveldop, Chief Marketing Officer, Atlantic Zeiser, said, drupa becomes the hub of the printing world for two weeks every four years. The objective is to impress customers with future-oriented solutions and systems. This is why our key focus at drupa is summed up by our slogan Beyond Printing and why we will be demonstrating the numerous industrial digital printing options for the fast-growing markets of coding and serialising packaging in combination with security printing and card personalisation. Added to this is the fact that we will be underlining how important future hybrid solutions of offset and digital printing will be. At the KBA stand, visitors will be able to view an available solution in the shape of the new Rapida 105 from KBA with the integrated DELTA printer.
