The company presented its PERSOLINE advanced high speed solution for complex performance requirements at drupa. KBA and Atlantic Zeiser also showcased the new KBA Rapida 105 sheetfed offset printing press equipped with Atlantic Zeisers DELTA 105i inline integration printing module and VERICAM verification system for digital high-speed coding .

PERSOLINE offers significantly lower costs for consumables using innovative DoD Inkjet printing technology GAMMA for full face edge-to-edge card surface printing and personalisation. Together, with various integration module options, it combines different  personalisation technologies. Thanks to this, customers can enjoy far more flexibility. Varnishing with a UV curable protective layer for superior abrasion and scratch resistance increases the quality of each unique CMYK card while the CoolShield lamination module guarantees a high level of security and flexibility in a choice of card materials.

The powerful system is built on a flexible platform that can be easily configured with a wide range of options. PERSOLINE easily handles high-volume personalization no matter how complex the application, and ensures a low personalization cost per card.

Delivering up to 6000 cards per hour, PERSOLINEs high resolution, high-speed DoD ink-jet printing module Gamma 70 helps users increase productivity as well as reduce the cost for consumables. It offers high resolution together with high-security CoolShield lamination and scalable chip programming, enabling full-speed personalization even for the longest programming times. PERSOLINE targets a wide range of markets and meets strict corporate and government requirements.

KBA and Atlantic Zeiser collaboration

The company showcased how its DELTA 105i high-speed digital printer can be integrated into the new generation Koenig & Bauer AG (KBA) sheetfed offset Rapida 105. The collaboration enables printers to realise a wider range of special applications and opens up new business sectors with cost-efficient sheet printing. This combination ensures maximum print quality and speeds between 7500 and 14000 sheets per hour.

Ideal for coding and serialising, the innovative DELTA industrial digital printing technology from Atlantic Zeiser will be integrated into the Rapida 105. It is designed for high offset speeds of up to 240 m/min at a resolution of up to 600 dpi. Comprehensive market analyses have demonstrated that hybrid solutions, the combination of offset and digital printing technology, are the future of printing. Until now, the high quality levels and speeds permitted by offset printing were unobtainable from standard digital printing technologies so far.

DIGILINE Sheet: Secure Serialisation with Variable Data in Sheetfed and Flat Product Printing
