Arjowiggins Graphic’s new Eco-calculator makes it easy for both its, and Antalis’ customers to communicate their environmental commitment as it allows customers to create and download free of charge their own, ready-to-print, bespoke Environmental Benefit Statement (EBS).
The new EBS will also enable printers, businesses and designers to feature the acclaimed WWF Climate Savers logo on their work for the first time. The Eco-Calculator, which sits on both the Arjowiggins Graphic and Antalis websites, provides users of recycled paper with an ‘Environmental Benefit Statement’ (EBS) that shows the amount of landfill, CO2 and greenhouse gases, water, electricity and wood that have been saved by opting to use Arjowiggins Graphic recycled paper over paper produced from virgin fibres.
Until now, customers had to request to receive EBS artwork but the new online Eco-Calculator will instantly produce a hi-res PDF that can be added directly to any print job. The platform also offers extensive options on how savings are displayed, as customers can now change the layout, colour and icons on their statement.
The Eco-Calculator has been used to produce Environmental Benefit Statements for leading environmental magazines, business mailers and even books such as The World We Made by Sir Jonathon Porritt to demonstrate their environmental credentials.
