Arctec will host an Open House event at their Cape Town offices at Unit 25, River’s Edge Business Park, Winelands Close, Belville, from 12-13 March 2015 and will have morning sessions starting at 9:30am and afternoon sessions starting at 13:00pm.
At the event, Arctec will present the TrojanOne label printer, Uchida AeroCut Nano cutter and Fastbind Pureva perfect binder.
The robust and industrialised TrojanOne prints 1600 dpi full colour labels at 300mm/sec, enabling in-house production of crisp colour labels and allowing you to print your various designs in smaller volumes. It reduces unnecessary stock holding of labels as well as saving you costs in lost or damaged label stock.
The new Uchida AeroCut Nano is the revolutionary bridge card cutter that can take up to SRA3, 350gsm stock. It feeds, slits and cross cuts to finish prints into business cards, post cards, flyers and so on. The cutter has single and double slitter blades. These slitter blades can easily be adjusted manually and fixed with an InstaSet bar which is Uchida’s patented mechanism that you can intuitively snap on to the machine to change the job while keeping its extreme accuracy.
The Fastbind PUREVA XT is the industry’s first combined PUR/EVA table top perfect binder. Short run soft and hard cover books are growing in demand and have become one of the most profitable products that you can offer. Because the PUREVA is smaller and considerably lower priced than the traditional PUR machines, virtually any print shop can now incorporate it into their existing production environment. It allows for a larger product offering with lower costs.
